I spent most of my Jr. High English classes doing intensive grammar. This was invaluable when I transitioned to high school and began studying Spanish and I realized then how much understanding grammar can help in language learning. This lesson provided a valuable review of parts of speech, something native English speakers need to think so little about on a day to day basis, but are absolutely crucial to language learners. This lesson was particularly valuable for me in looking into the rules for definite and indefinite articles.
