This lesson was the most interesting and challenging yet, as it taught me about pronunciation and phonology, which I had not yet contemplated thoroughly in regard to teaching. While it is a concept that is much more complicated than I ever imagined, this unit shed light on the patterns of intonation, the guidelines for stressing syllables, the phonetic alphabet, the places of articulation, and the manners of articulation. Lastly, the lesson included helpful suggestions for explaining these concepts to students.
