Unit 2 introduces basic grammar rules in English including verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, nouns, pronouns, articles, gerunds, and the more granular rules within each category (i.e. transitive verbs, personal/possessive pronouns). I learned how to distinguish between the more granular rules, particularly how to distinguish a transitive verb from an intransitive verb. Reviewing the role of each word in sample sentences provided valuable insight into the grammatical rules of English that make the language unique.
