In this Unit we have learned about different equipment, that could be used in the classroom. The most basic and as well necessary is the board. When using the board, it is important to plan ahead, white clearly and not spend too much time with your back turned. I find it interesting, that capital letters are harder to read and therefore should be avoided.
Teachers are very likely to use books and worksheets. Both of them are great resources and extremely useful for the STUDY phase of a lesson.
Every other teaching equipment is optional. Teachers very likely will find OHP in the class, or the whiteboard. Both of them are great, as they help to concentrate student’s attention and decrease the standing back to students’ time, however they increase the prep time dramatically. In addition, it could be used to show videos or play audio, which both are great ways of engaging students and also improving their listening comprehension.
