This unit was very helpful in learning how to manage the classroom and establish a learning environment conducive to students. I found suggestions on seating arrangement and behavior management to be very helpful since I had never considered some of the strategies discussed. In regards to dealing with problem students, I realized how important it is to focus on the behavior rather than the individual and to reprimand a student while still encouraging them to learn.
