Unit 2 gave an overview of the parts of speech and how they are used. I have been teaching grammar for seven years, so little of this was new to me, but it was useful to have a review, particularly of types of pronouns and the difference between transitive and intransitive verbs. I like the way the lesson was broken down into simple terms that I can use when teaching my students. I also liked the sentence examples that showed how all the different parts of speech worked together. Another helpful part of the lesson was when it explained the common mistakes made by English language learners. This will help me expect these problems when I am teaching.
