This unit pertains to teaching productive English skills, those being speaking and writing in English. Again, this unit provides several examples of ESA centered games to make learning English fun.
I love board games. I'm trying to consider how to use my games as learning devices. One idea is the "Who Am I?" game, where everyone writes a famous person, hands the slip to someone else, and they tape the slip to their forehead and ask 10 questions pertaining to "themselves."
For example, they are given Elvis Presley, but they don't know it. They ask the class, "am I alive?" and "am I a singer?" and so forth. The class would answer, and maybe provide additional information. It might only work with small classes. It might be better if the famous people are openly discussed before being randomly assigned.
In any case, I think I'm better recognizing the ESA method in practice.
