A very basic and quick unit, giving us the run down of the different evaulations and testing methods. As well as explaining what some of these international examinations are all about. Brief desciptions to help us differentiate between the different tests available. Its always important to pay attention to evalution to make sure that the standards of our lessons are of high quality which indeed should be reflected by good results from placement tests(if we are lucky enough to teach students the next year/semester)/progression tests. This works both ways, showing us where the students are in terms of their language ability with relation to what has been taught and where we, the teachers stand, with regards to improving the way we teach and handle lesson/lesson plans.
