The unit 1 is entry level of teaching knowledge to introduce what is good teacher's qualifications and how many roles the good teacher should play. First, the good teacher should patient and professional, answer students question nice and correct without hurt student's confident. second, the good teacher should love teaching and understand own student's weakness and offer good support and help on and off the class. Third, the good teacher should treat every student equally. The great teacher is not only care about their own teaching, also focus more on their student's situation, they are good manager, monitor, organizer, promoter, participant...and so on. They should switch to different role from various situations.
The students are also multi levels because age, experience,culture and so on.The good learner wish to study English and they willingness to listen and answer questions, the most important is they have high motivated to learn English. But English is complicated language, there are certain levels to divide students. There are six levels of English to consider and define student's English ability, and teacher should familiar each of students level and teach them appropriate knowledge to help students learn English efficiently.
