This unit covered the duties and responsibilities of being a teacher from being the classes facilitator to how to go about managing the class in a balanced manner. A good teacher is observant, pushes students in an encouraging way but also isn't overbearing. Teaching English means recognizing that English is the students second language and needs to be treated as such. The classroom should be a place to encourage learning and for students to ask questions on things they don't understand.
