Personally, I think this unit is important for me because it discussed the different roles of a teacher inside the classroom. It helped me become more aware of the roles that would be effective in specific situations. I also learned the importance of the difference in motivation of across various ages of learners, and how I should adjust my teaching roles and activities for them to stay motivated.
