This unit deals with the conditional and with reported speech. I can see how the conditional would give students a lot of problems because it is a mix of different verb tenses. Sometimes the conditions may not be that clear. It also talks about reporting speech which in some instances may also change the verb agreement since one person is quoting (so to speak) another. This unit again reinforces the complexities of the English language for non=native speakers.
