This was a good unit to be Unit 1. I took Early Childhood Education courses in college and this unit was a great refresher and also showed me how much knowledge I retained from those classes. Though the content varied due to the fact that the student would be a non-native english speaker, it was very similar in the way I was taught to teach children. It was nice to read about how adult learners may be more nervous and how we are to do whatever we can to build confidence.
