Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit covered the concept of modal verbs, the passive vs the active voice, and phrasal verbs. These concepts seem to be geared more towards at least intermediate English students - rather than beginners - and explore some of the more nuanced points of the English language (difference between may and might, active and passive etc.). There were several areas where I was surprised the chapter did not delve more deeply. For example, the text did not mention that (over)using the passive voice is generally not considered 'good' writing and most English teachers discourage using this sentence structure too often. The unit also mentioned dependent clauses, yet did not give any examples, nor meaningfully explain the concept.
