The unit was rather difficult for me personally but I found it very important and very informative with all it had to offer on teaching pronunciation and phonology.I got to see how pronunciation a neglected part when teaching english students. Yet it is very important to teach it as much students are concerned about this as much they are with all other aspects of english. The unit helped define what phonology is and it focused on some of the main phonology in the english language stress, rhythm and intonation. I got to see the different intonation when speaking asking question and responding to questions by the variation of volume and pitch when speaking as too stress which focuses on one word only which baers most emphasis in the sentence. I got good help on what to do when teaching both phonology and stress to students with all the different techniques. I got to see the different sound joining and how people change certain words in all the different sound joining be it linking, sound dropping sound changing and extract lettering.Looking at the phonetic alphabet one has to pay close attention so as to not miss important information this part suggested items to use that can help me and the students when it comes to this area e.g the dictionary as it has nouns ,verbs and adjectives etc even example sentences and pronunciation as well as the symbols the unit had provided helped to understand further.On articulation the with the help of the diagram it provided great help as I studied it and saw how different parts of the human body has its role when pronouncing words when speaking and the techniques of how a teacher can teach pronunciation using phonemes, tongue twisters,peer dictation, ones mouth and visuals
