Lesson planning is such a personal endevour that is seems unusual to then be 'tested' on the first, second and third phases of the 'study phase.' I think something with the unit material highlighted and which I also agree with is that lessons should be flexible and should respond to the class for which they are designed. This insinuates that the flow of lessons will be, at least in part, based on the the make-up of the class. I also strongly believe that the students' ages are necessary to include in lesson plans when those plans are to be records to refer back on as the appropriateness of certain activities will depend on the overall maturity of the group.
