This type of passive and active voice is interesting. The passive voice I think to me feels more softer, more polite, and less intense, as the subject is not stated at the start of the sentence. As opposed to the active which starts the sentence with the subject performs the action stated by the verb. As opposed to the passive sentences where the subject is acted upon by the verb. I also found the defining relative clause interesting, as the essential information to define or identify the person or thing we are talking about. This reminded me of law, and also news paper articles which have to be clear and concise when communicating such information and circumstances.
