This unit focused on the fundamental relationship between teachers and students. It laid out the cause and effect of teacher conduct on students. It addressed managing a classroom to improve or maintain motivation in the learners, and how to make decisions about the nature of the teacher's potential involvement in activities. It outlined the different roles that a teacher may have, and the good and bad qualities in a teacher and a student.
