This unit is about teaching productive skills to English students, meaning speaking and writing skills. When teaching speaking drills, the unit points out the differences between accuracy and fluency based activities and why each are important. A particularly helpful section is on how to encourage student participation. The last part of the unit is about the specific difficulties in learning English writing. This part is important because they are difficulties that a native English speaker may not think of on their own.
