In this lesson, I learned about how to both structure and manage an TEFL classroom. I read about the general benefits of individualized and group-oriented work, and I learned more about how certain physical class set0-ups can contribute to or detract from these arrangements. I also discovered various techniques for disciplining students, as well as how these methods must be directed at the behaviors of the students rather than the students themselves. Each student brings his or her own worldview and perspectives to the classroom, and it is important that I as a teacher am able to account for the different variations that can be found within even a small group of 10 students.
