Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit covers the future and present tenses. I learned that the future tenses can be one of hardest to learn. The similarities between the usage may be confusing for students. The examples for teaching lessons are similar in nature to those of past tenses, though it appears that future tenses may have more elaborate usage that may be difficult to explain. Teaching methods for future tenses include a lot of pair work. Planning events, or telling others what you will be doing on a certain date is very common in English dialog. Arranging diaries and comparing schedules are great exercises that pairs can work through. Studying "why" we use certain words for the future tenses is important for a teacher to fully understand all use cases, though I feel that we need to be careful with over-complicating some of these tenses for students. As we learned in previous lessons, getting lost in TEFL jargon won't be productive. A specific example can be the use of predictions based on if their is evidence or not. More advanced learn may be able to process this type of usage comparison quicker than younger or intermediate learners. Living in Japan, I notice that my friends do have trouble with correct future tense usage in the same way that they have trouble with past tense usage.
