What strikes me most about this unit is how all the irregularities and complexities of the English language come natural to native speakers. We may not know what a gerund is, but we naturally know how to use one. This has shown me how complicated English is to teach and to learn. Not one rule is set in stone. I think the only really easy thing about learning English is that we have no masculine or feminine articles/nouns.
