I feel I have learnt the structure of teaching a lesson in perfect tense. First there should be a general class warmer evoking the present perfect in the context of cities and countries around the world. Second into the study phase the teacher can break down the present perfect structure and write on the board. The students then can (still study phase) get drilled by it in say and repeat. The next phase the students can practice this through a gap fill process. Last of all the students can create and ask each other a survey followed by interaction between in executing this survey with questions and feedback for the class.
