This unit, Managing the Classroom introduced completley new material to me. I learned a lot about how to organize a class, how to deal with individual students within a class, and what how to present myself when teaching to a class. I was never aware that TTT can be detrimental to the student and therefore I found very useful the techniques used to reduce the TTT and increase the STT. From student grouping arrangements the pair groups arrangement is definetely a winner and I will use it for sure in my future practice. I also liked the horseshoe setting for classroom arrangment as it is more personal and easy to teach for smaller class sizes. Overall I think I learned a lot in this unit and the video for this unit was most useful.
