The unit discusses the teachings of each special group (beginners, individuals, children, business clients and multilingual students). It goes into details about the specific ways to approach each group with engaging and meaningful activities that are appropriate for the age group as well as the do's and the dont's. The unit really provides examples of how to ensure that each special group is taught with caution for e.g. teaching methods that work for children may not work for adults. It is important to know that when teaching business English, it is not a prerequisite to have a knowledge in the field. However, it is important to know what is expected of our business English clients and what they need to learn in order to fulfill their duties at work. Once again, it was reiterated that the teacher must ensure that all lessons are engaging, motivating and tailored to the students' needs. Also, ensure that all instructions are clear and avoid using the mother tongue.
