This unit overviews the methods that teachers can use to effectively manage a classroom to make sure that it is a healthy learning environment. A teacher can achieve this by doing things like always using eye contact and the right tone of voice. The unit also discusses the pros and cons of student grouping and class arrangement. The thing I feel is most important to take away from this unit is building a rapport and dealing with behaviour. As a current teaching I find it relatively easy to establish a good rapport but I do sometimes have issues with problem students. This information from the unit will really help in the future.
