Unit 5- Managing Classes speaks about the importance of class management. The importance of managing classes efficiently is reflected at the end of each lesson. Classroom management can be defined as the skill of managing the classroom. It includes organizing and managing the class, having a friendly calm attitude and maintaining discipline. A teacher’s physical appearance (eye contact, gestures) and voice play a major role in classroom management. If a teacher is able to use his/her physical appearance and voice properly, it will lead to productive classes. Good eye contact is necessary if the teacher wants to establish good rapport with his/her students.
