This unit has three parts, teaching English to beginners, how to teach one-on-one and how to teach English to adults, for beginners, it is important to be encouraging, positive and even a little self deprecating at times, especially with children. For teaching adults business English, the teacher should not show off their knowledge of their industry and teachers may have to handle classes with wide age ranges and experiences. It is important to conduct a needs analysis before the unit begins so the teacher can adapt their lesson to what the students need.
