This unit covered the correct and incorrect use of course materials in the classroom as well as many items to consider when choosing, using, adapting or supplementing the course book. From the practical things such as price, availability and quality,to abstract things such as how it looks and how 'pretty' the book is. I learned how important it is to choose your coursebook correctly, for me personally I would want to use a book that was very flexible in how the lesson could be taught, with no script.
