This unit was very helpful for me especially in coming up with new teaching strategies. From this unit, I gained more ways on how to engage and motivate the students before conducting the next parts of the lesson. I personally think that the types of lessons (Straight Arrow, Boomerang, and Patchwork) are of great help in preparing my future activities for my students in order to prevent the discussions from becoming too monotonous and routine-like.
