In this unit, we focused on the Past Tense. I feel like I have a better grasp of the past tense than I do the present tense, though I am starting to definitely see the similarities in the structure of both. I feel like teaching the past tense will be easier and follow a more basic pattern for students to follow. The only issue I see arising is the fact that many verbs have irregular past tenses. These irregular verbs will require memorization on behalf of the student to fully learn the language as they cannot just add "ed" to the end of the verb.
