Unit ten regards the two video lessons on how to lead a lesson and how not to lead a lesson. The first lesson was ineffective because the students were not engaged in the learning process. The teacher constantly repeated himself yet was still unclear about certain activities that the students were supposed to do. He had very little positive interaction with the students because he took on a leader-dictator role in the classroom. This reduces the amount of time that the students have to speak English. The second lesson was quite the contrary because the teacher introduced himself and learned all of the students' names. This is one very important way to improve student-teacher relationships. I liked that he taught the lesson without using technical jargon; he just got them to start thinking about the topics that he wanted them to learn and then, later in the lesson, he introduces the ideas explicitly. One way it could be put is that their learning was active, not passive.
