This unit provided an essential review of English grammar, which I found to be incredibly valuable to my study of teaching English. I was surprised by how much I did not remember or never learned, regarding the grammar of my own native language. I think it would have been very detrimental for me to rely upon solely my instinctive knowledge of the language in my teaching. I plan to review this lesson frequently, and possibly even use it to help me structure some lessons for my students. I also particularly appreciated the fact that I can use my greater understanding of English grammar to facilitate my studies of other languages.
