I felt this was very interesting with regards to creative content and also authentic material. I learnt in the long term over the course of a sememster you need the authentic course book material that is 'tried and tested', as this will survive the test of time with structure and purpose, which most importantly meet the the outcomes of the learning process. Creative materials I learnt can actually be tailored to suit the students individual needs and interests to reinforce the initial ideas/subject matter from the coursebook.
