This unit outlined the types of evaluations teachers and students can expect (self-evaluation, tutorials and testing) and explained the purposes of each from.
The majority of the unit was focused on testing - specifically the types of testing teachers may be expected to execute at the beginning of a course (placement or diagnostic), during the course (progress and/or practice tests) and perhaps preparing students for external evaluations.
The unit ended by listing common external evaluations, going into quite a bit of technical detail about the Cambridge Assessment certificates and tests in particular.
