This unit is an excellent grammar review of the past tenses. It is great that the tasks at the end of the book also contrasts and compares the different tenses both past and present. The written material it is an excellent value material to be used for future teachig. After I graduate this course I feel I will need to review the entire grammar units before I will start teaching because is an excellent refresher course for anyone who wants to teach English. Simple past tense and simple past continuous tense are pretty straight forward, it is the Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous that are most difficult to understand I think. It is when we combine the knowledge of Present Tenses with the Past Tenses that we get a better understanding on how to phrase things and when. I actually combined the notes from Unit 4 with my notes from Unit 6 in order to prepare for this unit. I think the two units should be practiced together. The video for this class was also useful, but not as useful as other videos so far. I am looking forward to more studying material.
