In this ...Unit 1... I have learned what makes a good Teacher (Loving Teaching, being Kind, Patient, Helpful, Motivating & having a GREAT Rapport with the Learner), & a good Learner (Having the Desire & Motivation to learn,being Happy to experiment with Language, Interested enough to ask Questions & Brave enough to accept being corrected to make Your English better). Also the different roles a Teacher will play like Manager, Organiser, Model, Assessor, Prompter, Participant, Tutor, Facilitator & Monitor.
The 3 Categories of Young Learners: 1st: 13+ Adolescents...need I say more. 2nd: 8-12 easier to teach but still short attention spans. 3rd: Preschoolers 0-7 Make their learning FUN with Songs, Games & Repetition. Some of the issues Learners may have like Motivational, Learning & Life Experiences as well as their different Learning Levels:Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate & Advanced. This Unit has been interesting & I can`t wait to see what I learn in Unit 2.
