Within this unit it gives many options of how to approach a Engage, Activate, Study lesson within the class. This is different than the previous units which focused on straight arrow ESA lessons. This proved to be a little bit of a challenge, but after looking it over the structure of the lesson makes sense. It makes it so you engage the students into the lesson, have them study the material and understand the vocabulary, only to then use an exercise to solidify the understanding of word usages. Overall I really enjoyed the information provided within this unit due to wondering what types of course materials I should be looking at. I know the schools will provide the materials, however as a teacher I would have a say in how that material is used within my class and what I can do to adjust the material to the students within the class.
