Unit 7 focuses on teaching new language in terms of vocabulary, grammar and functions. It is helpful to understand why vocabulary can be simple or more difficult based on the reasons provided in the lesson. I really enjoy the examples of ESA and how they can be used in some cases better than others. The fact that the lesson plans are spelled out gives a clear indication of the structure of the lesson and the pros and cons of using a particular method over another.
