In order to be a good educator, the teacher must be motivated and enjoy the aspect of teaching. We also learned that young learners don't generally choose to take a language class, they are either part of the curriculum in primary school or sent by family to private lessons. Adults are almost always seeking language classes by their own desire, therefore being more willing to learn. Adults have more reasons for learning English, such as career advancement, travel, or simply the desire to learn new languages. Young learners may not fully understand the benefits of learning a new language.
