In this unit, we reviewed teaching new vocabulary. I was curious about this process as the prior units discussed teaching grammar but did not discuss the act of actually teaching words. I know that teaching vocabulary will seriously vary depending on the proficiency of the class. Beginners will need to learn the basic vocabulary where as intermediate students will be focused on new language along with the proper grammar utilizing more and more words. I think it will be extremely important that beginners not only learn new and simple words, but that they also use the correct grammar from the start in order to not develop bad habits.
