Wow! As a native English learner, growing up in the United States, I completely forgot the complexity that is the English language. This unit gave me a reality check on how difficult learning English can be and how many moving parts there are in the English Language. While there are guidelines, there are so many different words and situations that don't necessarily follow these rules. I think this was a great introduction to the complexities of the English language. I have learned a lot about identifying the different parts and actually paying attention to how these parts form specific sentences.
