I learned from this unit how to teach new language to my future learners. This topic taught me how to teach vocabulary, grammatical structures and language functions considering the suggested typical ESA vocabulary lesson, grammar lesson and function lesson. Two of the most important things I learned as well were the student factor/s in learning new English vocabularies and the teacher's guide in selecting vocabularies to teach. It gave me activity ideas to consider or use in every level of my ESA lesson to make it more interesting and various. It really built my confidence because I was taught how to plan my own ESA lessons through the use of various activities. This is really helpful for me because I believe that in every effective ESL teacher is an interesting and various ESA lesson plans and resources.
