This unit was great for learning about the different ways in which teachers can assess their students levels or progress. It was very thorough in that it explained the different kinds of tests that teachers will normally use, and what these tests will achieve. I believe it is important for teachers to consistently check the progress of their students, whether that be in an informal or a formal setting. If we are in tune with where the students are at level wise, we can only be more helpful to them as teachers.
