This unit considers past tenses:past simple, past continous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. It gives us explanation how these tenses are used. Also, there are ideas for activate stage.
Firstly,past simple. For an activate stage we can use story narrating,cards with irregular verbs, discussion of past events,holidays etc.
For past continuous I liked the idea of playing a detective game. For past perfect and past perfect continuous we can give. A sentence to students, and they will have to write the reasons for this action. Also we students can retell the story backwards.
