The course unit provides a good foundation for understanding the roles and inter-play between students and teachers. The qualities of a good teacher are described, as are those of a good learner. The roles of a teacher are covered. This provides a great introduction to the types of skills required and gives the course participant (myself, in this instance) the opportunity to reflect on how they may be best applied. There is a useful introduction to the levels of student understanding, as well as potential areas of difficulty which may arise during the teaching process. I feel these are learnings which will be most useful as I go through this course, and which I will do my best to carry over into active teaching in the future. I would also like to note that some of the questions, for example in the section from 15-19, left me with a couple of challenges, as I was drawn to two potential answers.
