The content in this unit covered modal verbs, passive voice constructions, and phrasal verbs. I never knew about some of the subtleties concerned with modal verbs such as certainty with may and might. It's also shocking to notice some of the differences in tone when using different modal verbs. The phrasal verbs portion of the unit was also very enlightening -- I feel that English is a language that uses a lot of these kinds of verbs and should be addressed more. However, I think it may be a part of English that one learns simply by doing and experiencing their usage.
