Unit 6 clearly summarizes English past tenses. The structures are simplified and the forms are categorized into easy to understand reference pages. The differences between simple past, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous are easy to see and the unit helpfully includes common student mistakes/errors for each tense. For example, students who are learning past perfect continuous often omit the auxiliary verbs - 'had' and 'been', as well as the omission of - '-ing' to indicate that the action was continuing. As always the task sheet covers all of the vital points which need to be mastered in the unit and additional stress has been added to the significance of regular and irregular verbs.
