In this lesson, I've learnt the roles of the teacher and the characteristics of the successful learners. I also get to know that learners can be categorized by age, English level and motivation. I feel Unit 1 knowledge is a general idea of teacher and student. A teacher should know that he/she should "act" in different roles during different activities. As being a teacher, I'd better put these theories into practice, and after many trials ,I can find the teaching style that both I and students can be benefit from.
