I find that this unit succinctly discusses the language teaching strategies that are not commonly used and provides ample explanation and example when needed for each. It also provides practical advice that may be helpful in the future.
The unit then proceeds to explain the ESA method in detail as it is the approach the program follows. For each step of the strategy, the unit provided different activities that one can use in order to successfully plan for an ESA lesson. Each activity is briefly explained and its use—during a specific part of the lesson justified. The unit also gave varieties of how to use the ESA method in a class. It provided ample examples and variations that would allow for easier assimilation in the future.
